OBD-ⅡSoftware is a free program that allows you to use your PC and a hardware interface to get the information from your car’s computer. The program is very user-friendly, easy to learn and easy to install. Simply extract the files into a folder on your computer’s hard drive and you’re ready to go. To uninstall the program, simply delete the entire contents of the folder where the program resides. The software supports two platforms: DOS and Windows.
Based on the latest PC scan, the OBD Ⅱ USB car scanner could connect to your PC or laptop via USB, and could work with all OBD-Ⅱ compliant vehicles, including the VPW, PWM, ISO, KWP 2000 and CAN protocols. It could read and clear any problems in your vehicle by reading the Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC’s, clear DTC and reset MIL/check engine light. It could support the latest vehicles with the new can bus protocols. USB connection allows it could be supported by wider range of computers. Power is supplied by the OBD port, while LEDs indicate power and show communication status.
DTCs are codes stored by the vehicle’s computer system when a vehicle issue occurs. Each DTC represents a particular vehicle issue which is used as a guide to locate the root cause in order to help you to fix the vehicle.

Note: Only the vehicles which have a 16-pin DLC/Data Link Connector under the dash could be compliant to OBD Ⅱ. The Vehicle Emission Control Information Label must state that the vehicle is OBD Ⅱ compliant.
